What will you do as a North Area – Sales Manager Onion & Leek? Are you passionate about sales? The position of Sales Manager within Enza Zaden is a varied role a mix of sales, leadership and entrepreneurship. We are looking for an experienced Sales Manager who has commercial responsibility for Onion & Leek crops, and of North Italy team.
As a Sales Manager you play an important role in the development and sale of various varieties and take responsibility when it comes to positioning new varieties. Of course, it is important that you are familiar with the latest market and product developments.
Together with both a territorial and international team, you are in close contact with customers to promote and sell varieties, because: you and your team are the face of Enza Zaden! Your area of work will be North Italy. But there will be frequent contacts with international internal colleagues, such as Sales Representatives, Product Managers, Marketing Managers and Breeders. You will work closely with other Sales Managers and be a member of the management team.
Your responsibilities will be:
North Area commercial team
Develop sales activities that contribute to company goals.
Budgeting, forecasting and pricing within the market area.
Management and identification of key customers.
Developing, coaching and supervising a team of sales specialists, working closely with the SSM (Subsidiary Sales Manager) in maintaining, motivating and inspiring the sales team.
Collaborate with Sales Managers from other international subsidiaries.
The implementation of pricing strategies for specific markets.
Gathering market and customer data to develop marketing plans.
Job requirements
Higher professional level (HBO, Bachelor, College)
6 to 8 years of relevant work experience
Agricultural background
Customer orientation
Result and sales driven
Strong communication skills
People management skills Location North Italy
