Junior Breeder cauliflower
Full time, at MSc degree level
What are you going to do?
As Junior Breeder cauliflower you will contribute to the development of new cauliflower varieties. You will assist in observation and evaluation of screening and selection trials. The trials are located on various locations in and outside Italy, so travelling will be part of your job. You will work closely together with colleagues of other departments, ranging from phytopathology to biotechnology. Additionally, you will assist in recording, processing and analysing breeding and screening data. You report to the Senior breeder cauliflower.
Your power
When you see a crop your analytical skills are triggered making you notice every detail and assessing their relevance. You are eager to learn and to develop yourself to become an all-round breeder. You have a MSc degree in Plant Science and preferably two years working experience in plant breeding. You write and speak Italian and English fluently. Moreover, you are an enthusiastic entrepreneur who sees new possibilities and comes with creative ideas. You can cooperate within a team but also work independently.
