Job Description
We are looking for:
2 Research & Development Agronomists (Junior and Senior candidates will be considered)
for its facility based in Fondi (Lazio), Italy.
The successful candidate(s) will provide technical support and assistance in all aspects of regulatory field studies and experiments (GLP and GEP), within defined technical and quality guidelines and operating procedures. This will involve conducting small plot safety and efficacy experiments to assess and record the effects of a wide range of agrochemicals and other agricultural inputs.
The role will also be suited to an individual who is looking to progress within their career.
Requirements:
Experience in the crop protection industry, ideally coming from a field trials background
Experience in field trials including drilling, spraying, assessing, soil sampling, fulfilling the role of Principal Investigator on own studies
Experience and knowledge of GLP and GEP principles
Ability to ensure that trials are conducted according to protocols and at a standard level of excellence
Educated to degree level or equivalent in relevant life sciences subject
Excellent communication skills
Confident in using Microsoft IT packages, Word and Excel
Ability to work with relevant software such as A.R.M.
Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English is essential, other languages are advantageous
A high level of initiative and motivation as well as being a positive and enthusiastic team player
High level of problem solving skills
Flexible to work outside normal office hours according to workloads
Full current driving licence
